The chapter officers participated in a virtual AFCEA Boot Camp 2020 in July. The training sessions included chapter ethics, online marketing tools, strategic planning, finance and accounting, free chapter web hosting and continuing education credits for members. The Annual Sponsors are Macalogic and DDC IT Services. The chapter is continuing its training commitment to its members through online monthly luncheons and online certifications. In August, the chapter is excited to offer ITIL 4 Foundation training virtually. This course provides information technology (IT) leaders, practitioners, support staff and staff interfacing with the organization's digital and information systems functions with a practical understanding of the key concepts, common language, principles and practices that allow successful management of modern IT-enabled services. It also prepares delegates for the ITIL Foundation Certificate Examination. The course is based on the ITIL 4 best practice service value system featured in the latest guidelines. |
