Chapter Awards STEM Scholarship Winners

The chapter handed out two $1,000 Scholarship Awards to Phillip Newman and Christian Hines. Newman will attend the University of South Carolina to pursue a degree in computer science. Hines will enter The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, and will also pursue a degree in computer science. These young men were selected among all the candidates for their academic excellence as demonstrated in their respective high schools. The chapter applauds these young men in their chosen STEM pursuits and wishes them all the best. In addition to their scholarship award, they will receive a one-year subscription to SIGNAL Magazine, plus a student membership to AFCEA Palmetto Chapter.
