Chapter Awards $4K in Scholarships |
In August, the chapter awarded scholarships to several area students. Scholarships were awarded based on scholastic performance, financial need and community/organization involvement. In addition, two recommendations were required on each applicant's behalf. Overall, the chapter awarded $4,000 in scholarships. Camden Murphy, freshman, University of Nebraska at Omaha, will pursue a degree in mathematics; Sha'lise Oliver, freshman, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, will pursue a degree in civil engineering; Ethan Roberts, freshman, University of Nebraska at Lincoln, will pursue a degree in mechanical engineering; Charlie Sims, freshman, University of Nebraska at Lincoln, will pursue a degree in civil engineering; and Erbey Uribe, freshman, University of Nebraska at Lincoln, will pursue degrees in mechanical engineering and computer science. |
