Chapter Swings for Scholarships at Annual Golf Tournament

The chapter held its annual AFCEA Aberdeen Golf Tournament in July at Ruggles Golf Course, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. With 20 sponsors and 100 golfers, the chapter's largest fundraiser for its Education Fund was a success once again. The chapter is proud to have raised $19,202 through this year's tournament, all of which will support its STEM Scholarships and Grants presented to students and educators in Harford and Cecil Counties.

The chapter would like to thank all golfers and sponsors for helping make the 2024 event a success. Special thanks to Independence (Title) Sponsor General Dynamics Mission Systems, to Mission BBQ for their generous donation of food for the catered lunch (offset by a sponsorship from OMNI Technologies) and to Wendorf Beward & Partners for donating a beautiful set of Odyssey by Callaway Putters for the chapter's new Closest to the Pin paid competition.
