Chapter Recognized by Maryland State Legislature

The chapter was honored by the House and Senate chambers of the Maryland State Legislature for providing hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to support STEM education and enabling the continued involvement of large and small businesses, defense officials, military service members and academics who support the Fort Meade ecosystem. Each year, proceeds from corporate sponsors and chapter events allow the chapter to award over $400,000 in college scholarships, college endowments and grants to qualified local schools, students and teachers in Maryland.
