Indo-Pacific Signals, Cyber and Readiness

More than 125 government, military and industry professionals attended the chapter luncheon in June, featuring a fireside chat with Brig. Gen. Ray Phariss, USAR, commanding general of the 311th Signal Command (Theater), and Maj. Gen. Garrett Yee, USA (Ret.), vice president for customer relations at GDIT.

The discussion explored the evolving importance of signals, cyber operations, resilient communications and strategic collaboration across the Indo-Pacific. Both speakers emphasized that strong partnerships among the military, government, industry and organizations like AFCEA are essential to meeting today's complex security challenges and developing the next generation of leaders.

Sponsored by GDIT, the luncheon highlighted the value of innovation, collaboration and professional engagement in supporting regional readiness. The chapter extends its sincere mahalo to Phariss, Yee, GDIT and all attendees for contributing to another successful chapter event and strengthening the relationships that advance our shared mission across the Indo-Pacific.
