IT and Cyber: Priorities and Perspectives
In July, the chapter had the privilege of hosting Col. Tassika Davis, USAF, director, Cyber Operations and Warfighter Communications, Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), as a keynote in its luncheon series.
Davis inspired the summer interns and Emerging Leaders in attendance by sharing lessons from her journey-doing the hard work, setting big goals and applying your skills to the mission. She then discussed strategy, alignment and lines of effort, emphasizing joint architectures, data-centric approaches and infrastructure challenges, including proper power and HVAC planning, as critical to resilient C2 capabilities.
She also challenged the contractor community to bring forward ideas and cross-pollinate opportunities within PACAF and across Pacific commands.
The chapter sincerely thanks Davis for sharing her time, insight and experience, and for her continued commitment to strengthening the Indo-Pacific mission, fostering government-industry collaboration and inspiring the next generation of leaders who will carry that mission forward with purpose and dedication.
